"Well, we definitely have to tell someone," Shiro frowned, "but we don't know where anyone is."

The streets were pretty crowded, after all, and there were guards on every street - how would they know where the queen was? And Kyrie could be anywhere!

"If you three search from the ground," Kaito offered, "I'll take to the sky."

He had been itching to spread his wings for a while already.

Shiro's ear twitched slightly. It was a good idea, and a part of him felt like he should offer to fly and search, too. But that would leave Holly and Twig alone ...

"Shiro can fly too though?" Holly asked, "It would be faster if there were two in the air."

She was sure that she and Twig could manage alone, even though she had no idea where to start looking.

Shiro nodded and stood. "And perhaps in the meanwhile, you and Twig could ask some of the guards where the queen would be," he suggested, "and let them know that a threat was overheard."

The guards might know the queen's schedule, after all.

Holly nodded at this, "Right, we'll go find the nearest guard."

She held her hand out to Twig so he wouldn't get lost while they go find someone.

"Right Twig?"

Twig still didn't understand fully what was going on, but as Kaito and Shiro took to the sky, he reached obediently for Holly's hand.

"I don't get it," he murmured, looking up at her, his brow furrowed deeply. "Why do we have to know where Queen Mari is?"

Holly didn't want to worry Twig, but she also didn't want to mislead him.

"To assassinate means to kill, we think someone might want to try and kill Queen Mari, so we need to find a guard."

She told them this as they went to try to and find someone who could help them.

Twig suddenly looked very concerned. "That's not good," he murmured. He picked up the pace and hurried along with Holly.

There were guards at the corners of each street, so it didn't take long for Holly and Twig to find one.

"You do the talking," the boy mumbled, ducking shyly behind Holly.
