Re: Plotting Through Poleria - 119 4A
It took a bit to transport the patients to their beds. Once in their beds, some got water for Khetal, Lancaeriel and Cael to use. Others got what they could to make the new arrivals comfortable while being tended to.
"What do you need," Lin asked the moment Khetal was in view.

Khetal looked around at everyone. There were nearly two dozen people whom they had rescued, and before he could really treat anyone, he had to diagnose them. He didn't know the poison that was being used - he sort of hoped that after nearly a thousand years, they would have come up with an antidote for the one he had been researching when he'd been a part of it - and he didn't know how badly off each person was.
"Start with getting each of them to drink water," he told her. "Hopefully, it will help dilute whatever they've been given. Don't bother with names or trying to get them to talk too much, they've all been given a bit of fimlas so they're all a bit dozy. Try to see which ones seem to need the most help, we'll start with them."
He looked around, muttering to himself. "Notebook, notebook ..." He was about to leave the room when Wren appeared next to him, notebook and pencil in hand. He took it from her, relieved. "You're a dream," he told her, and pressed a kiss to her cheek. Then he headed down the middle of the room, looking at each patient briefly and making notes.

Everyone began to get to work. Getting water for all the patients, and letting Khetal know who was more badly off.
It took a long while to get everyone settled.
